Russian 'humanitarian convoy' located near Voronezh
The convoy arrived in the Russian city of Voronezh on Tuesday, local residents say.
The convoy delivering Russian humanitarian aid stopped at the air base Malshevo near Voronezh. The trucks headed back to the East and did not reach Kharkiv Oblast border, BBC reports.
The whereabouts of the convoy were unknown at first. Journalists found it near Voronezh. Ukraine is sure that the convoy will enter Ukraine near the village of Izvarin in Lugansk Oblast. The territory is controlled by militants. The convoy will continue moving on the Russian territory, the Kremlin claims.
Kiev does not believe the declared goals of the mission and thinks that Russia is going to invade the country under the guise of a humanitarian mission. Kiev will accept the cargo on condition that it is accompanied by representatives of the Red Cross. However, there is no information about the contents of the trucks, the Red Cross announced.
