Russian journalist Igor Kornelyuk dies near Lugansk
He was a reporter of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
Igor Kornelyuk described ‘hundreds of killed peaceful citizens’ and said that Lugansk was facing ‘a clean-up’ that would be organized by the Ukrainian troops in his last report. The man got in a bombardment in the village of Mirny near Lugansk soon afterwards. A mine exploded near a group of Russian journalists.
Igor Kornelyuk was badly wounded and died on an operating table in Lugansk, RIA Novosti reports. Audio operator Anton Valoshyn also died in the bombardment.
