Russian lieutenant colonel gives orders to Ukrainian policemen (video)
Separatists have seized the building of Gorlovka police station in Donetsk Oblast today.
Policemen lined up in front of the building and a man in camouflage made a speech, UNIAN reports. He introduced himself as a lieutenant colonel of the Russian Army from Simferopol. He even showed them his Russian passport and introduced their ‘new chief’ – man in plain clothes Alexander Shulzhenko.
The separatists led the real police chief, Andrey Kryshchenko, out of the building. He had not laid down arms and was made to get in a car.
It was one of the few police departments that tried resisting separatists. However, two days passed and no help arrived. Thus, the policemen surrendered.
