Sannikau’s wife detained in Minsk airport for 2 hours at night
A famous journalist Iryna Halip, the wife a presidential candidate Andrei Sannikau, was detained in Minsk-2 airport for two hours last night. She was on her way back from Budapest where she had received a diploma of the Central European Initiative for journalist investigation.
According to “Charter-97”, they took away Halip’s passport and started examining her belongings looking for money. However, they only found 500 Russian rubles.
Andrei Sannikau says that the OSCE EOM has been informed about it.
