Sergei Ivanov: Belarus to stay in Customs Union
The head of the Russian President’s Administration told it to Russian mass media.
Sergei Ivanov has commented on the prospects of the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan. “Belarus will stay in the Customs Union,” the head of Putin’s administration said, RIA Novosti reports.
The Customs Union of the three states provides a single customs territory where customs duties and economic restrictions cannot be imposed. Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan stick to the same customs tariff and trade regulation measures with the rest of the world.
