Sevyarynets on election-2015: I didn’t plan to run for President
The co-leader of Belarusian Christian Democracy has been interviewed after the release.
Pavel Sevyarynets was released from the penal labour camp in Kuplin village, Pruzhany District, Brest province not long ago. The ex-political prisoner is still a convict and will have to inform the police inspectorate whenever he changes his job or place of residence for the next two years. It is better than preventive supervision as he will not have to return home by the evening and will have more freedom.
The politician also said that he would not be able to become a candidate for the next two years. “I did not plane to do it but Alyaksandr Ryhoravich’s peopled decided to play safe,” Pavel Sevyarynets said.
Sevyarynets was head of Vital Rymasheuski’s election team before the presidential election in 2010, BelaPAN reports.
