Shumchanka asks Lukashenka to support small business
Chairperson of the association Perspektiva Anatol Shumchanka has written a letter to Alyaksandr Lukashenka. He is asking to impose a moratorium on decrees #22 and #48 on January 1, 2016 on behalf of all private entrepreneurs, tut.by reports. The decrees regulate the work of private entrepreneurs and make them stick to certain technical regulations.
Private entrepreneurs importing light industry goods will need special documents for them after January 1, 2016. The norm was supposed to come into force on March 1, 2016 but was postponed when entrepreneurs started closing their business all over Belarus.
Shumchanka suggested that Lukashenka created a group of private entrepreneurs in the President’s Administration. The group would work on the optimal ways of regulating the work of private entrepreneurs in the current situation.
All these ideas were pronounced at a business forum in Minsk on December 14.
"I am asking you to assess the situation and reality impartially and take the necessary decisions for ordinary people who simply want to work and live in their country in 2016,” Shumchanka said in his appeal.
