Slovak’s fine caused by BelToll is cancelled
The €2150 fine has been cancelled after a revision.
A new commission was created together on the basis of the paid roads operator and the transport inspectorate in response to the complaint, the Ministry of Transport reported. It cancelled the fine.
A Slovak citizen came to Belarus by car in August 2013 – the time when the paid road system BelToll was introduced. However, an operator made a mistake while registering his device. An employee confused a letter and wrote RC instead of RS (Rimavska Sloboda, a town in Slovakia where the car was registered). As a result, the sum of €250 paid by the Slovak was charged from a non-existent number.
