Syarhei Haydukevich collects 88K signatures
It was announced by Liberal Democratic Party press service on August 7.
In support of the nomination of chairman LDPB Syarhei Haydukevich as presidential candidate were collected 88 thousand signatures. "Collecting is on schedule, we have already begun to bring the collected signatures to the election commissions," BelaPAN reports referring to the party press service.
Collection of signatures in support of the nomination for presidential candidate started on July 23 and will last till 21 August. For registration of the nominating group of the candidate it is necessary to collect at least 100,000 signatures. The nominating group of Mr Haidukevich includes 2,400 people.
Currently,the necessary number of signatures has been collected only the nominating group of Alyaksandr Lukashenka. Presidential Elections are scheduled for October 11.
