Taxes on rich irrelevant, retirement age should be raised - first deputy PM
First Deputy Prime Minister Natallia Kachanava spoke on topical issues in the social sphere that she oversees. In an interview with BelTA, Kachanava said that she considered the introduction of fees for visits to polyclinics inappropriate. She also believes a tax on the rich is irrelevant. According to her, our country does not have such a drastic stratification of the society, as in other CIS countries. She recalled that all citizens pay income tax at a rate of 13%. The more income a person earns, the more they will pay.
As for raising the retirement age, it is inevitable, noted Natallia Kachanava. She stressed that the Belarusians will be asked their opinion on this matter. However, this issue is not of today, but the future.
