“Tell the Truth” activists return to Akrestsina
The interrogation of a journalist Syarhei Vaznyak has finished in Minsk Lenin District Department of the Interior. He has been delivered back to the confinement cell in Akrestsina Street.
A human rights activist Alena Tankachova has informed ERB that Andrei Dzimitryyeu and Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu are also likely to be put back behind bars after the interrogation.
Tankachova: "The interrogation of Vaznyak has finished. It was the second interrogation and his lawyer left the room. No repeated accusations have been pronounced. However, Vaznyak has returned to the confinement cell for the second time today. Vaznyak’s three days of detention will end at 12.15 p.m. tomorrow. So he will be the first to demonstrate what the investigation is going to be like. We hope they will release him tomorrow”.
Dzmitryyeu’s three days of detention will finish at about 6 p.m. and Nyaklyayeu’s – at about 8 p.m. In the lawyer’s opinion, there is no legal reason to detain the activists for a longer term.
