Tennis: Vera Lapko suspends career over health issues

Belarusian tennis player Vera Lapko has decided to finish her season ahead of time and suspend the sporting career due to health issues. TUT.by reports the 20-year-old Belarusian starlet is struggling with the low immune system but vitamins do not yield the required result. Another concern is a knee injury from the last year yet to be fixed.

Vera also had to part ways with her coah Uladzimir Kruk and is now looking to use the break in her career to recharge.

In February 2019, Vera Lapko was No 60 in the WTA ranking capable of breaking into Top 50. She is expected to make a decision on the continuatiion of her sporting career in early 2020.
