Tymchuk: Military equipment enters Lugansk
There are several dozen tanks, APCs and IFVs in the column – about 40 vehicles.
“Unfortunately, a column of military equipment has reached Lugansk in order to help militants. Part of them arrived from Russia earlier and the rest has reached Donetsk Basin from the Russian Federation today. Several dozen vehicles have reached the outskirts of Lugansk, 40 of them are tanks. Part of the column has already entered the city.
We cannot comment on the way the column reached Lugansk although it is surrounded by road blocks and ATO forces,” expert Dmitri Tymchuk wrote on Facebook on the evening of August 19.
The Ukrainian Army started battles in Lugansk as soon as the information appeared. The Ukrainian troops also stated releasing the outskirts of Donetsk from terrorists a few days ago.
