UCP members fined for collecting signatures against car tax in Hrodna
The opposition activists were found guilty of staging an unauthorized picket.
Alyaksandr Vasilevich, Yezhy Hryhench and Ruslan Kulevich were fined for 1 million 950 thousand roubles each. Iryna Davidovich from Iuye was fined for Br1 million 300 thousand.
UCP members were collecting signatures in support of their candidates and against the car tax in Azheshka Street in Hrodna on February 7.
The collection of signatures was announced to be illegal. All the fined UCP members are going to appeal the court’s decision.
Another picket participant, Alyaksandr Munyakin, will stand tail on February 13.
