Ukraine asks EU for large-scale military assistance
Ukraine calls on the EU to hold an extraordinary session of the European Council on 30 August.
Ukraine proposes to introduce additional sanctions against Russia and provide Ukrainian side with a large-scale military and military-technical assistance. This is stated in the comment by Konstantin Eliseyev, Representative of Ukraine to the European Union, reports censor.net.ua.
"Enough concessions and appeasement of aggressor! Solidarity must be absolute and questionable. It should materialize in the additional decisive and significant sanctions, as well as large-scale military and military-technical assistance to Ukraine to stop the aggressor," said the Ambassador of Ukraine to the EU.
The Ambassador said that since the beginning of Russia's military aggression on February, the EU Council adopted 11 resolusions on Ukraine and the European Parliament adopted 4 resolutions urging Russia to respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine. "Was not it enough to know that words do not mean anything for the Kremlin?" asks Eliseyev his European partners.
