Ukraine to organize just one election precinct for Belarusians

Representatives of the Ukrainian Central Election Commission will observe the presidential election in Belarus on December 19, 2010. The corresponding decision has been passed to the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine Uladzimir Shapaval by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Ukraine Valiantsin Vialichka.  Besides, one electoral precinct will be created in Ukraine for Belarusians to vote at the presidential election. It will be organized at the territory of the country's diplomatic mission in Kyiv. The Embassy is now checking the list of citizens which are on the consular record in order to include them in the list of voters. Previously, 2900 Belarusian citizens were on the consular record. The Embassy's employees are to verify the lists by December 1. 

Voting will also be organized in Crimea, at the territory of the "Belarus" sanatorium, for those Belarusian citizens who will rest there at the time of the election.
