Ukrainian customs block 10 tons of humanitarian aid for Maidan
Warm clothes, sleeping bags, camp beds, wound textile and other things were collected in different Polish cities last week.
Although the humanitarian aid crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border, it has not reached Maidan so far. The Ukrainian Customs Service blocked the container, UNIAN reports.
The Ukrainian customs procedures came as a surprise to Poland. The country stuck to all the terms set by Ukraine when organizing the humanitarian aid for Maidan.
To reach people in Maidan, the humanitarian aid must be allowed by eight Ukrainian Ministries.
By the way, the humanitarian aid from Poland has been sent to the storehouse where Dutch humanitarian aid has been waiting for customs clearance for 5 months.
