Ukrainian troops fend off attack on weapon storehouses in Artyomovsk
Pro-Russian activists launched assault in the night of April 24, UNIAN quotes Dmitri Tymchuk from the Military Political Research Center.
Several dozen extremists armed with submachine guns and grenade launchers attacked weapon storehouses in Artyomosk, Donetsk Oblast, Mr Tymchuk said.
Ukrainian soldiers managed to resist the attackers. Having encountered armed resistance, the attackers fled. Some attackers were reportedly wounded.
