U.S. Navy SEALs to train Donbass battalion
The commander of Donbass battalion Semyon Semenchencko signs contracts with retired US commandos to train Ukraine's National Guard troops.
He is visiting the USA together with a Ukrainian delegation now. The agreement has been signed with ‘mobile groups of U.S. instructors’ who no longer serve in the army, he wrote on Facebook.
Ukrainian soldiers will be trained according to the system used for SEALs. There will be individual exercises and group training.
American SEALs will start working with Donbass in 10 days. Other voluntary Ukrainian units and detachments are going to take similar training courses.
