Boris Nemtsov memorial vandalized in Moscow (photo)
Anti-opposition activists attack Boris Nemtsov memorial at the murder site in Moscow calling him ‘a traitor of Russia’s interests.’
The improvised memorial installed for Boris Nemtsov on Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge has been destroyed by vandals. People wearing fillets looking like ribbons for Saint George broke Nemtsov’s photo frames, painted them over and broke the plate ‘Nemtsov Bridge’. They also placed posters humiliating Nemtsov there.
Members of the so-called Russian liberation movement SERB took the responsibility for defilement. One of the activists uploaded photos from the action to the Internet, BBC reports.
Boris Nemtsov was killed in the centre of Moscow, on Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge, on the evening of February 27. Five suspects were arrested.
