Vaukavysk enterprise pollutes environment, damage worth Br1.2 billion
The company dumped waste and asphalt in the wrong places after demolishing cowsheds and clearing the roads.
The enterprise Vaukavysk PMS threw its waste away in an inappropriate place and did damage to the environment for almost Br1.2 billion, BELTA reports referring to the State Control Committee.
The enterprise demolished a cowshed, a calf shed, part of the farm and cleared the roads leading to the farm.
This is not the only incident. The pig complex Shylavichy has contaminated the nearby waters. Numerous filling stations in Hrodna Province are also contaminating land.
43 agricultural organizations and officials will have to give account for the contamination of the environment.
