Venezuela-Columbia conflict resolved

The conflict between Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela has been resolved, the leaders of these three Latin American countries announced at the Rio Group summit at Dominican Republic, reports Interfax.
The crisis began after Colombian troops killed Raul Reyes - the Farc rebels' second most important man - in Ecuador. The raid outraged the governments in Venezuela and Ecuador.

Before shaking hands, to applause from the summit participants, Ecuador President Raffael Correa said: "With the commitment of never attacking a brother country again and by asking forgiveness, we can consider this very serious incident resolved".
