Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has won in the first round of the tournament in Cincinnati. Her rival was American Lauren Davis. Azarenka won – 6:1, 6:2.
The Belarusian (World No.21) will compete with Dane Caroline Wozniacki (World No.5) in the second round.
The prize fund is 2 million 701 thousand 240 dollars.
Victoria Azarenka won the tournament two years ago. She defeated American Serena Williams in the final.
