Victoria Azarenka into Miami Open final
Victoria Azarenka has made it to the Miami Open semifinal. She defeated German Angelique Kerber (World N.3) in two sets in the semifinal — 6:2, 7:5. Their personal score has become 7:1 in favour of the Belarusian (Azarenka lost to Kerber at the Australian Open).
Azarenka will compete with Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova (World No.19) in the final. Kuznetsova defeated Swiss Timea Bacsinszky (20) in the semifinal – 7:5, 6:3. She also defeated Serena Williams (World No.10) earlier.
Victoria Azarenka is the World No.8 at the moment but she will soon become the World No.5.
