Witnesses and participants of November 24 street action stand trial in Minsk
Participants and witnesses of November 24 street action dated for the anniversary of the referendum held in 1996 stood trial in Minsk Maskouski District Court on December 7.
Activist Anton Zhylko was fined for Br3.6 million and Stanislau Paulinkovich – for 4.5 million roubles, spring96.org reports. Pavel Sevyarynets, Natallya Satsunkevich, Syarhei Kasparau and Maxim Vinyarski’s cases will be reworked. Ex-political prisoner Mikalai Statkevich’s hearing was postponed due to his absence.
