World War II museum director sacked
Siarhei Azaronak, director of World War II museum in Minsk, was fired on the eve of Victory Day May 9.
Mr Azaronak was reportedly dismissed for having failed the deadline to open a newly constructed museum. According to tut.by, he announced his resignation to this staff on May 8.
The new building of World War II museum was initially planned to be unveiled by May 2013. Now the launch is scheduled for July 3, 2014.
