Ukraine: Yanukovich agrees early presidential election
Ukraine's VIktor Yanukovich also agrees to restore the 2004 Constitution that limits the powers of the president.
The Ukrainian President has made a loud statement.
"I would like to say in these tragic days when many people died on both sides of the barricades – there is nothing more precious than life. There are steps that all of us can make to restore peace in Ukraine.”
Yanukovich announced that an early presidential election would be initiated, news.liga.net reports.
The Constitution of 2004 will also be brought back and the power will be shifted towards a parliamentary republic. The Ukrainian President urged to start the procedure of creation of the national trust government.
