Yarmoshyna: Election posters will appear two weeks before election
Three weeks before the election campaign in Minsk stands are still empty. Election posters were promised to be printed only by 24 September. And they will appear on the stands 15 days before the election. This was stated by Chair of the Central Election Commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna in an interview with Euroradio:
"They will only be ready on the 24th, and it will only be after I put my foot down, because they were going to make them on the 28th. Still, two weeks before the election there will hang posters. Definitely."
Thus, this week already the posters will get printed, and they will appear in the election commissions. To the stands they will get later - two weeks before the election. This delay is linked to the presidential candidates submitting public information about themselves. If the candidates submitted their data before September 10, the posters would have been ready sooner, said Lidziya Yarmoshyna.
The presidential elections in Belarus will be held on October 11th.
