Young Front gets new leader

The Young Front has a new leader now - Yauhen Vaskovich, an activist with the Belarusian Christian Democracy (Babruisk affiliate) and an ex-political prisoner. Young Front's former leader Zmitcier Dashkevich has congratulated Vaskovich on Facebook.
Yauhen Vaskovich was arrested on January 17, 2011 and sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment on charges of hooliganism and damaging administrative buildings. He served his sentence in a Mahilou colony where he was put into a punishment cell many times.
Vaskovich was amnestied on August 22, 2015. He did not appeal for clemency.
