Young Front member Andrei Tsanyuta detained in Homel
The co-leader of the youth organization registered in the Czech Republic left his friends’ place on the evening of May 4 and did not reach home.
It turned out that he had been detained near his house. Tsanyuta was taken to a detention centre and the information appeared only yesterday, BelaPAN reports. He was accused of ‘disobedience to the police and petty hooliganism’. He will stand trial today.
It was a preventive detention before the World Ice Hockey Championship that will start in Minsk on May 9, Andrei Tsanyuta’s friends think. Young Front activist Mikola Dzemidzenka was probably arrested for the same reason on May 5 in Minsk.
