Zmitser Dashkevich collects signatures in support of white-red-white flag

Co-leader of the Young Front Zmitser Dashkevich organized a signature collection picket for the white-red-white flag in the centre of Minsk on October 1. The well-known oppositionist and his adherents have already come to Katsrychnitskaya Square to collect signatures several times. They want to make the flag a historical and cultural value in Belarus.

Dashkevich and Syarhei Palcheuski were detained by the police a week ago. The oppositionists were let off later.

Nobody was detained on October 1. A dozen of people in plain clothes were watching the picket. The driving inspectorate blocked Independence Avenue from Lenin Street to Engels Street for some reason.
