10 directors of model agncies from Minsk, Gomel, Vicebsk and Polack have been found guilty by a Minsk court of trafficking in people and forcing the Belarusian women into prostituion abroad. The verdicts were issued to the directors of the model agencies "Zarya", "Gracia" and "Medison".
They were sentenced to prison terms of 8-10 years, expropriation of their property and huge compensations to be paid out to the victims. The hearing took place behind the closed doors, according to Interfax.
