18:56 Russian credit to Belarus not to be interest-free
Belarus will receive a stabilization credit without any problems. But it will not be interest-free. The Russian ambassador to Belarus Aliaksandr Surykau informed about it.
Let us remind you that Belarus turned to Russia asking to consider a possibility of receiving a stabilization credit of 1.5 billion USD.
The reason for it was the increase in prices for Russian energy supplies. Starting from 2006 the government does not give interest-free credits in connection with changes in the Budget Code of Russia, noted Surykau in his interview given to “Interfax”.
