3 more crosses uprooted in Kurapaty (video)

3 more crosses have disappeared, volunteers guarding the mass execution place in Kurapaty noticed on May 22. Those crosses were painted white and were near the territory of the restaurant “Poedem, Poedim”.
There are only pits and flowers left in their place at the moment.
“Those crosses were painted white and could be easily noticed from the restaurant gate. Three crosses could be seen but only one is left now. Somebody is secretly uprooting crosses and taking them away. It has bene happening for a week,” “Kurapaty Watch” participant Pavel Sevyarynets said.
One more cross has been found broken in an excavation pit in the place of executions.
The voluntary watch started in Kurapaty almost a year ago – when the restaurant “Poedem, Poedim” was opened near the western border of the mass execution site. Activists are telling drivers and guests about the mass repressions in Kurapaty Forest in the 1920s–1940s.
