Azarenka makes it to Indian Wells ¼ final
Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka (World No.15) has made it to the ¼ final of the tournament in Indian Wells, USA. The prize fund it $6 million. She has defeated Australian Samantha Stosur (World No.28) in the 1/8 final – 6:1, 4:6, 6:1. The game lasted for 1 hours and 59 minutes and Stosur was struggling pretty well.
Azarenka will compete with Italian Roberta Vinci (10) and Slovak Magdaléna Rybáriková in the ¼ final.
The Belarusian has already defeated Chinese Zheng Saisai (69) — 6:4, 6:3 and Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan (87)— 6:3, 6:2 in Indian Wells.
