A bank in Belarus closed an account of state propaganda columnist Andrei Mukovozchyk who wrote about it in his column for the Sovetskaya Belorussiya - Belarus Segodnya newspaper.
“I got into Europe’s sanctions list. And that’s why, as the lady explained to me on the phone, stumbling over her words, “the bank has the right… in keeping with regulations… that you read… in a contract you signed,” and so one and so forth,” wrote the propagandist.
Mukovozchyk was included in the fourth package of EU sanctions which came into force in June 2021.
