Belarus' gold reserves $700 million up in 2016
Belarus' gold and currency reserves grew $88.9 million in IMF terms in December 2016 up to $4 927,2 million in in the equivalent, reports National Bank.
The increase was possible due to the revenues from export duties for crude oil and oil products as well as the sale of foreign currency bonds. The payments of external and domestic debts prevented the gold and currency reserves from further growth.
