Belarus third among former Soviet states on price growth

Belarus was the third with 1 percent among the former Soviet states regarding the growth of prices after Ukraine (1.6 percent) and Latvia (1.2 percent) in October 2008. Prices also grew 1 percent in Lithuania and Kyrgistan. In Russia, prices grew 0.9 percent in October. In Georgia, prices dropped by 0.5 percent, reports Belapan.
