Civil activists organize voluntary cleaning in Kurapaty again (photo)
The new cleaning is dated for the anniversary of the publication of the famous article Kurapaty – A Road to Death.
The famous article was published by Zyanon Paznyak and Yauhen Shmyhalyou on June 3, 1988. It told the truth about Kurapaty to the public.
Activists of the civil initiative To Save Kurapaty started cleaning the territory near the western side of the memorial on Tuesday, June 3.
They continued removing weeds and rubbish from the territory on June 4.
The voluntary cleaning will be organized every week until October 29, 2014 (from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday evenings).
