Ecomedservice case: surgeon was tired?
The doctor was operating on Yuliya Kubarava after two surgeries at his main place of work.
The Prosecutor General's Office told BelTA about it. Checkups have revealed that many Belarusian doctors including those whose work is connected with threat to patients’ life have extra jobs which leads to overload.
Thus, the head of the plastic surgery department of Minsk hospital #4 conducted two surgeries on March 26, 2013. It took him about 5 hours. Then he headed for Ecomedservice and conducted the third operation.
Hrodna inhabitant Yuliya Kubarava, 23, underwent rhinoplasty in the centre. The girl did not come to her senses after the operation and was taken to hospital #4. She died there four week later, on April 23.
A criminal case was started.
