Entrepreneurs to be supported on Freedom Day
The protection of independence will be the main topic of this year’s Freedom Day action. However, social and economic mottoes will also be pronounced, BPF Party leader Alyaksei Yanukevich told Radio Liberty. In particular, privet entrepreneurs will be supported.
These ideas were discussed by the organizing committee for the celebration of the Freedom Day in Minsk.
The main idea of the action will be the speech that will be made by BPR Council President Ivonka Survila. Mottoes in protest against Russian military bases and in support of Belarus’ secession from all the unions that contradict the national interests of our country and where Russia is dominating will be pronounced, Yanukevich said.
The organizers will apply for Minsk City Executive Committee’s permission to conduct the action on February 16. They would like to gather people near the Academy of Sciences and walk towards the monument to Belarusian poet Yanka Kupala on March 25.
