Exchange office attacker in hospital
According to Minsk police spokesman Alyaksandr Lastouski, "lengthy negotiations with the perpetrator yielded no result."
To the question from BelaPAN if the attacker was alive, Alyaksandr Lastouski replied: "It seems that he was alive, he was taken away by ambulance. Girl was provided with help by physicians and psychologists on the spot."
Investigative Committee spokesman Yulia Gancharova reported that crime scene investigations were continuing - the police were talking with witnesses, camera recordings were analyzed.
On account of the attack on the BelSwissBank exchange office, law enforcers opened a criminal case (Art. 291 of the Penal Code, "Hostage taking").
