Football: Alex Hleb does not rule out BATE return for Europe campaign
Belarus' most famous footballer Alex Hleb does not rule out he might return to FC BATE when the Belarusian champions will take on a new Europe campaign.
“If desire is there, we can discuss it. If the two sides are happy about everything, then why not?" the former Arsenal London and Barcelona star told the Belarusian sports newspaper Pressball.
Hleb explained that he signed a contract in Turkey for six months only, because he likes it there "only if I am [here] for a short spell." Hleb also noted he had had an offer from a MLS side in the United States but rejected.
"MLS kicks off in April only. I did not want to wait for so long, yet the league in the States is interesting. For now, I am happy to play in Turkey," said Hleb.
