Football: Switzerland blocked Dynamo Minsk's money - Safaryan

Switzerland has blocked 2.4 million euros for the Minsk football side Dynamo. The Belarusian club earned it, when it reached the group stage of the Europa League. As was noted at the press briefing in Minsk by Siarhei Safaryan, First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation, last year, when Dynamo was under the EU sanctions (it happened due to sanctions hitting Yury Chyzh, Chairman of FC Dynamo Minsk), the money for the Europa League was transferred to Minsk without problems. And now, once in October the sanctions were suspended, there are problems.

Safaryan said that the UEFA is looking into the situation. UEFA officials make daily calls to the Belarusian Football Federation asking if the millions of euros have finally arrived.
