Holzapfel: European Union prioritizes visa regime facilitation for Belarus

The European Union considers the facilitation of the visa regime for Belarus a priority. The chargé d'affaires of the EU Delegation to Belarus Jean-Eric Holzapfel has claimed it. Holzapfel: "The development of the situation in this direction depends on the mandate that will be issued by the Council of the EU. The mandate has not been approved yet. The issue is a priority for the EU – it is necessary to make more progress in this direction and to facilitate the visa regime for Belarusian citizens”.

Let us remind you that Poland lifted visa fees for Belarusians as of January 1, 2010.
