Hrodna flooded on Thursday (photo)
The regional centre has been hit with a heavy shower.
The weather caused a lot of traffic jams in the city, many basements were flooded and the Swiss Valley Quay was partially destroyed, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.
It had been raining for about an hour and Hrodna was flooded. Two cars sank through the earth – the road surface did not withstand the downpour, witnesses say.
By the way, the all-night rain of July 13 was a real natural disaster for Hrodna. The roads were washed out and about 30 birds got downed in Hrodna Zoo.
