Java volcano eruption causes mass evacuation
The Indonesian authorities are evacuating over 200 thousand people from around the erupting volcano Mount Kelud.
The volcano has become more active, BBC reports. Two eruptions created a huge ash cloud. People found ash in their houses in Surabaya, 130 km away.
The main Javanese airports – Surabaya, Sola and Yogyakarta are closed now. They worry about plane engines and low visibility.
