Kabyakou: Social state needs market economy
The main social services will be financed from the budget in Belarus, PM Andrei Kabyakou said in the programme Contours on ONT. The interview was recorded during the All-Belarus National Assembly on June 22-23.
However, our country needs a market economy, he believes. This is a Belarusian feature, Kabyakou said.
Kabyakou: “Belarus is a socially oriented state but it needs a market, competitive ad effective economy. We will provide the main services in the sphere of healthcare, education and social security with the help of budget financing.”
The state will not mind if citizens would like to get a wider range of services at their own expense, the PM added.
