Lukashenka reveals what is more expensive than gold and currency reserves
Alyaksandr Lukashenka instructs to create breeding dairy farms in each region.
He set this task on Friday while visiting the state-owned "ZhodzinaAgraPlemElita", BelTA has learned.
The Head of State was informed that 41% of dairy herds in the country are grown at industrial enterprises. This method requires specially adapted animals. Work is under way to create such a Belarusian breed. The science is facing the task to provide the farms with own breeding herd by 2020. To do this, each area needs to create the appropriate selection and breeding dairy farms.
"This is a breakthrough in the country. This is more expensive than gold and foreign currency reserves," said the Belarusian leader.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has instructed to provide him, before October 1, with a legal act containing the spelled out details the conditions that contribute to the creation of such farms. "This way we will have 7 farms. And then we'll get a good breeding material," he said.
