Lukashenka's State of the Nation Address scheduled for Apr 21
Aliaksandr Lukashenka will deliver his State of the Nation Address on April 21. It will be broadcast live by the Belarus 1 state TV channel and the First Nationa Channel of Belarusian Radio. The broadcast from the House of Government's Oval Hall will begin at 1100 local time. The TV version will be repeated at 2100 on all Belarusain TV channels.
The Address will have a usual structure, Spokesperson for the Belarus president Natallia Eismant told BELTA. It will comprise of several thematic blocks but the block on economy is expected to be the cenral one, touching upon the goals and targets for the year 2016, she said.
The head of state will also speak about the most important social policy issues like the improvement of the pension sustem, healthcare, and education. The president will also focus on Belarus' foreign policy priorities, personnel strategy and other topical issues, reports BELTA.
